Yeah, no rush. You can either use the FT to chase the City vs NOR game, or roll it to have 2 FTs next week.
A popular strategy is to roll the FT, then take a hit and do 3 transfers in one week. It's like a mini wild card, where you can change 3 of your 11 starters.
But given there International games early next month and given Cup competitions will start, most people will wild card in GW4. Any rolled FTs will thus be lost, so use them before GW4.
Your choice to go for Ings means you're 0.5 short of getting Mahrez for Barnes. Gundogan got injured at the end of the Spurs game so need to keep an eye out for news on that. Foden is out for a month, so really the only affordable City asset for you is Torres or Grealish.
Everyone WCs during IB. That is when you need to go too. One week late will mean prices have gone up 0.5-1.0 and you're behind.
been experienced.. during the iB price wont move too far.. the most 0.1 or 0.2 and then wait until the game start This season alot team to challenge.. not easy
Yes, only 0.1 or 0.2, but when people change 5-8 players, the whole amount adds to 0.5-1.0. I always get massive team value rise during WCs. Most people do the transfers to affect the price and then WC at the last minute. Herd power is strong.
The WC is when you get unlimited transfers for one week and then your team reverts back to how it was before that correct?
Yep, you're thinking of the free hit (FH). That one you keep for the bye weeks created by progression in the FA Cup. Usually used around GW28-32.
A wildcard (WC) is unlimited permanent transfers. Basically, you pick a whole new team, now that the transfer window closes and everyone is settled and fully fit. Historically, it's played during the international breaks (IB) of GW 4 or 8.
This year, with fixtures changes, GW4 seems the best time. One year I was doing really well so held off. Backed my players. Ended up being one of my worst seasons as everyone else WCed and caught up within a few weeks. I'm starting to get flashbacks of Nam this season.
