Thanks mate, but I doubt it. Blew the last trade on Laporte last week. Shoulda banked straight up capt on Kev, and got Maddo. Instead I wanted a VC just in case. 45 extra pts and then I'd be confident. All my 3 Pool didn't start this week so I have no DGer to captain. Maddo is starting and he'd have been perfect. Anyway, what's done is done. It's been a great ride and I'm looking forward to next season after a nice break from FF.
3pt lead going into the last day... you have a shot. Sure hope you hit a bullseye.
I had no idea. Not surprisingly, given my season, I hadn't been looking at the top of the rankings  Don't like my chances, but given DGers from CHE & LEI have nothing to play for, I might get lucky. Need to nail the captain bullseye, probably my best chance. |

Delighted with a 6th place finish, best ever season by a mile  Could have gone further up if there were a few weeks left in the season Great job vsb, I really hoped you would finish 1st… but there is always next season to look forward to Well done Doc as always and others who have done fantastic to make us the best league again |

Well done, Ryan, and really bad luck, VSB - was seriously hoping you'd hang on... but 4th (and 6th, Ryan) are both finished to be proud of.
Much less to be proud of, myself, this season... but managed Top 50 which seemed unlikely for much of the year... finished 35th in the end.

Commiserations VSB. It was still a great season even if it ended in disappointment. I’m sure you will be glad of the break!
Also, congratulations on winning the leagues' competition and to Ryan on a top ten finish. Skill plays more of a part in this game than any other fantasy football game that I’ve played.
I managed to scrape into the top twenty. My own fault as the change in points scoring led me to take a different approach to the start. I was pleased with the recovery. Ironically, I finished one place ahead of last season’s runner-up!
The starting prices should be a lot tougher next season now that the new points system has filtered through. I think that will improve things even if it leads to a lot of despair when the game launches!
I hope they reduce the number of trades as I think it’s getting a bit too much now. We could all see what the end of the season was going to be like. Having said that, the break for the World Cup could cause some problems.

In the end, the coin toss for the final transfer went to Laporte, instead of Maddison. Cost me 106 pts (talk about punishing), and instead of romping it in by 47, I got whooped by 59. Maybe there's next season? You left it late, but the Fox assets came good for you. Probably made up 150+ pts on me in just the last 2 weeks. Just goes to show, patience is worth it in this game. It's never over. Just keep some transfers and cash and you're always in with a chance. |

Just being in it up until the final kickoff was fun enough. Didn't spend much time on the game this season so was surprised I did so well. Maybe that's the secret?  I too noticed this when I was taking a snapshot of the top 50. He must be cursing you. Was looking at what bargains we'll have for next season, and doesn't seem to be any. Will have to look at promoted teams, new transfers and early injuries to get a jump on the pack. If they give us 4 less transfers (as they probably will if COVID is a non-issue), it will be interesting again at the end of the season. Seems the Super League 20 were still the Super 20. There's always a seat there waiting for you if you ever want to join us. |

Gotta up our game, I can accept losing to VSB's crew, we share several top players, but don't know who this other mob is... Big Footy are an AFL forum with some of them also playing EPL. Erm... I may have been responsible for them doing well. I was in that league and got a few Super Coach players to join. It was a league of 10, and without too many weak links, they kept a high average given the 3 I brought in finished top 40. As for the Super League, cut off was 185 last season. Looks like it's 94 this season.  |
