Be gentle with me ...... (squad assembled whilst taking my 10 minute break at work). Schmeichel \ Bachmann TAA, VVV, Targett, Bertrand, Amartey Fernandes, Barnes, Havertz, Ali, Mbeumo Salah, Cavani Toney A big strategy in this game is to 'loop' a non-starting GK, so you get 2 bites at a captain's double score. Usually, this means getting a 3rd string GK from a team that plays late in the GW, usually a team in Europa League. This season, I'm starting with Jakupovic of LEI. Basically, you stick him in goals and make him capt. You then VC a player who kicks off early and you feel could haul big. Let's say this week you try it on Bruno. If Bruno hauls, you leave things as they are. Jakupovic will auto sub out for your starting GK, and the captaincy automatically goes to Bruno. If Bruno fails, you can then get another chance at a captain's haul by moving the C to say, Salah. Remember, this game is rolling. Unlike FPL where everything locks 90 mins before the first game kicks off, only players whose games have kicked off will lock. Fixture timing is important to team selection. Which big Gun you choose can often depend on when they play, as you want as many good chances at a captain as possible. No point in picking 2 Big Guns if they kickoff at the same time. Try stagger them out and make sure at least one plays before your loop GK. I probably wouldn't go Targett. Villa are OK, but for that price, I think there's better. Shaw is only a little more and gets awesome mics pts. Cavani could be a risky starter. If you're around when the lineups are announced, I guess you could always switch to Greenwood if he's not starting. The rest looks good. Cheers Vsb. OK, have sent invites to a few to fill up the remaining S11 and S11 Elite groups. I can't see us not filling them with quality players.
Many would like to join us so won't be an issue filling the last spot.
Super League needs 3 more. The 3 preferred have not got back to me yet, even though I've seen them in other leagues.
They were consistent top 100 (usually top 50) so would be nice to have them join us, but got a heap of backups who were top 200, so it'll still be a strong league.

Going with this line up ... I'd shart Shaw over VVD. Maybe bench Mbuemo, then loop him via Sema's spot if he does well. If he flops, you've saved a poor score from coming in. |

Now that I've got glasses to micronise everything. You're just messing with me. Sent some invites out for the S11 league. Would prefer an S11er or someone from last season. Hopefully Jissman will join us again. If not, it looks like Siggy's cousin, Moleicester City will have to do. Got 10 in S11 Elite and filled up The Super League with 20 quality players. Should be a ripper season. |

OK, We're full for the S11 league.
Never heard back from the others, but reliable Kev from Big Footy forum always answers his PMs, even past midnight.
He's our 20th player. Finished 54th last season, so no slouch.
Gonna be a super exciting Sportal season, given we have 3 super tough leagues and a new pts system like the good old Yahoo game.

Well, a double century score in a non DG week and I'm not even in the top 100 overall. Tough comp.
Pogba seems a must. If he's going to be in the 'France' role, he's gonna be another big gun this season.
Given price and his GW1 score, at the very least, he's a great cash cow.

If anyone is looking to join a group for overall score (not a league for H2H), the Super Coach Scores group is 337218.
When you go to your 'Leagues' interface, next to your 'Leagues' tab is the 'Groups' tab. You should have the option to join from there, so just put in the code.

Blimey. We used to have in the S11 Sportal league, a guy that not only won Sportal TWICE, but was an overall FPL winner too.  And Doc kicked him out.  |
