Absolutely love my tomatoes sliced with a little drizzle of olive oil and salt and some feta and kalamata olives 😋🍅 mmmmm
Little salt does add flavour, but it also adds to high blood pressure, arthritis, etc.
But seriously, I eat 90% of my toms like apples. Cut the top core off, cut in ate, appreciate the flavour of the tomato naturally. Most red ones taste bland to most people, but the other coloured tomatoes have unique flavours that can be appreciated on their own.

What are your thoughts on Green Tomatoes?
We went to some friends for some summer fun (access to a pool, a garden and two boys aged 4 and 5). Dinner included: bacon, panko-crusted pan-fried green tomato and lettuce sandwiches. They were delicious. I missed some of the "spilling out everywhere" aspect of "normal" tomatoes in a BLT, but the addition was a little cayenne pepper / Cajun spices in the panko breading.
I'm also open to any other examples of upscaling (or, as the locals in my neck of the woods might say, "churching up") tomatoes in ones food.
