Quick runaround in the backline due to Fergie twisting his knee, after reading what Hodgson says, he doesn't know when he'll be back in training, very sketchy comments so has to go until we know more, good thing is there is another 4.0m def in Mitchell, so in he comes. Justin and Walker-Peters come in due to good fixtures for both
Ramsdale makes an appearance but that extra 0.5m bites, I just hope he's worth it. Taylor had to go to cover Justin but I get bench cover from Branthwaite for that first week, which I didn't with Taylor, he can come in later as and when
This basically sets me up without any glaring tranny's to make week 2, only the possible swaps to players showing early form, the 2nd week Bruno comes off the bench and I go TAA, KWP and Justin at the back. Still hanging onto that cool 1.0M ITB for upgrades elsewhere, I could swap Armstrong for Soucek to bank another 0.5m, but I'm quite liking Armstrong's fixtures and gives me a strong 5 across the middle and always the chance to swap with Traore if he starts bangin for Wolves after gw2

You could be with only 10 starters in GW1.
Many have said it's not worth benching Bruno, and I've come to that conclusion also.
Best to get Son for GW1. His record with Harry is poor, but his record vs EVE is decent.
Worth the FT to Bruno in GW2, but might also be worth a hit. Take the pts and run.

Your DEF will likely score 1 pt. It's worth a punt on a placeholder and use the FT to get Bruno. Son is always fit. Could have a good GW1 if their opponents are up to scratch. I also like Pulisic. He had a better away record, so he might be the guy to get for GW1 from CHE. |

You could be right with Puli and will probably end up a great differential, he's not being half as heavily backed as Ziyech 21.8% to Puli's 5.9%, he is a half dearer though and thats probably hindering his transfer in progress, thats why I'm not going with Ziyech from the off like many, one gamble with Timo is enough, and incidentally Timo's ownership is now a massive 39.2%, the highest in the game behind Trent.
If Timo fires from the off his price will skyrocket and so will his ownership, if he blanks we could see a 0.1, 0.2 price drop, thats partly the reason I'm holding onto that FT with Bruno already in the team for the first week leaving me a freebie for any possible action I need to take if that scenario doesn't happen, I could go into gw3 with 2 FT's, one for Auba to KDB and the other for an upgrade on a def. I quite like that scenario

In any case, he'll take a little time to settle, so we might get some GWs out of Justin. By then, maybe Saliba or someone else will pop up. You know it only takes one good game against a fair side and everyone jumps on the bandwagon. It's tough to miss out on pips when it happens. It's either make 0.2 profit or lose 0.2. That's where the game can change. Funds made early on will come in very handy later, so might be worth the odd hit. |

He wasn't a nailed starter at Atalanta, but seemed to do well in attack when he did. Atalanta had a good season, and he has UEL experience. Long term though, he won't be a sure starter so he may decide not to come over if he wants regular football. It is coming into 'chestnut' season in Europe though.  |

🤔 FPL needs to get a Brighton back-up keeper listed soon. Suspect it's Sanchez atm. Button makes a nice free back-up for Sam Johnstone though for those fancying Baggies. |
