There's a lot of hit and miss in doing that, not to mention waste of transfers. Isn't it easier to just get the Pool DEF and leave them put for the whole season? It'll mentally test you, but in the last 2.5 seasons, they've come good. I think you're better off then using FTs to cycle the big hitters who are the best captain choices. But FOMO will get the better of everyone. If FFS says do this, they'll do it. I think there maybe is a case for a 2nd LIV def in a 3 but not a 4. The problem with this season is the talent and pricing further forward. VVD will quickly be ditched after a couple of blanks and attackers soaring. You can get 5 'hitters' with a reasonable 34m def/gk and that looks about right. I can see heavy defences leading to early WC's as funds are needed further up, and very fast. As our farseeing as before GW16 shall used up our 1st WC here, otherwise it will burned. So far my plan is bring up existing player at least at GW1.. If new comer / promoted player like Pukki-man.. he is surely a steal after gw2-3

Yeah. Logic tells me that VVD @ 6.5 is a bargain, but whenever I try get him in as a 4th, it just doesn't fit in well. I think it only might work if we have some good 4.5/5.0 attackers that we can start every week. And even then, the balance of funds doesn't feel right. Anyway, the only time I see it working is if the Pool DEF trio start keep their CSes up again, keep getting attacking returns, and if Taylor and Justin are sure starters, alternate home games, whilst keeping their home CS records up. Then there might be a chance. Of course that means no Salah or Mane, but with Auba, KDB, Sterling and Bruno all options for long term and captaincy, then there's no need to worry about Mo Mane. If Messi joins, then there's even less reason to get Mo Mane. Just grab Lionel and permanently put the capt armband on him. In this season.. double City, Liverpool or Man Utd seems doesnt work here. Everyone are too expensive now. If you hold 2 premium.. (for sure you might have 2-3 premium).. it will cost you about 12+12 (11-13) range = estimated 24.0 for 2 player only just unlucky that Alisson is injured the moment and 1RC if not mistaken, if he is fine.. with their duo fullback should able to consistent return about 180-200 pt per season for each of them). who dare with me? McCarthy (4.0) TAA Robbo Vinarge (Johnson Mitchell) Salah Auba ASM Soucek Son DCL Ings (Davis) Vinarge to put in as per GW3 onward they have a good week (But look risky if there is replacement for him). Son will be replacement of Bruno at GW2 later but left 1.0 only. Need to find another 0.5 Johnson Mitchell and 4.5 shall be well rotate tin each week. Soucek bench for GW2-7. (Or change a 4.5) Auba will replace to KDB at GW3. Set and go. DCL decent since GW2 onward plus new MF added in. Davis a filler. I agree with you. I think Pool had a poor year defensively. I think they can repeat the previous year when they conceded only 22. Gomez and TAA are only maturing. VVD and Robbo are still at their peak. But we lack depth, and as you stated, one injury (like Allison), and they whole DEF collapses. But I guess if that happens, then you just transfer our the other LIV DEF and keep TAA for attacking returns. I think if you stick to KDB/Rax for 11.5 and Bruno for 10.5, those 2 units you save over Mo Mane, you can get at least VVD over a 4.5. Those two and Werner should give you a good captain's option every week. The problem will be when we need Auba or Mo Mane, but I guess we wait and see. Maybe a reliable cheapo will come along or we make some money that then lets us upgrade. But it feels too early just yet.

if count from the pt per min.. TAA always get leads TAA 3173min / 210pt = 15.109mpp Rob 3111min / 181pt = 17.188mpp VVD 3420min / 178pt = 19.213mpp Doc 2836min / 167pt = 16.982mpp Tar 3420min / 143pt = 23.916mpp take note that Alisson was absence last season. and Doc played for Nuno Wolves last season Alisson played 2543 / 122pt = 20.844 19/20 (about 28-29 game.. absence and RC for 10 games) Alisson played 3420 / 176pt = 19.432 18/19 (played full 38 games) Trio in 18/19 with Alisson played full 38 gamesTAA 2460min / 185pt = 13.297mpp Rob 3216min / 213pt = 15.099mpp VVD 3384min / 208pt = 16.269mpp Conclusion here is.. with and w/out Alisson.. they did big different here They still didn't do well when Allison returned. They had a great run in Dec & Jan where they kept 9/10 CS. Once they won the title, they went back to conceding.

When Vinegar, Saliba, Johnson, Mitchell & Justin go MIA, they'll switch to VVD. Don't need a WC. It's just 2 FTs. Who's to say people won't take hits to switch to the correct 4.5? The thing that gets Pool DEF out of trouble is their goal threat. VVD gets involved in lots of goals too, and they're 6pts a pop. Can't beat his consistency with minutes and returns. Just gotta hold your nerve.

McCarthy (4.0) TAA Robbo Vinarge (Johnson Mitchell) Salah Auba ASM Soucek Son DCL Ings (Davis) Soucek out, need look for a replacement. Whether Robbo can duplicate 6th MF here? He is cost of 7.0 Lets venture to MF 7.0 choice. Willian 8.0 168pt Grealish 7.0 149pt Lundstram 5.5 144pt Mount 7.0 137pt Barnes 7.0 133pt Traore 6.5 130pt Perez 6.5 129pt Maddison 7.0 125pt McNeil 6.0 123pt Ziyech - 8.0 *new comers Torres - 7.0 *new comers Van de Beek - 7.0 *new comers Lallana - 6.5 *new comers Minamino - 6.5 *new comers So far i can see like the closest for MF price to match with Robbo returned, is Willian, and still lower than him. Robbo consider quite consistent with his return 15-17mpp Yet seeing the new comers to the new club and would they doing better than Robbo this season? How bout the FW 7.0 choice? Beside Ings and Jiminez both 8.5 and score 190+ Richarlison 8.0 165pt Abraham 7.5 163pt Wood 6.5 136pt Ayew 6.0 132pt Maupay 6.5 131pt DCL 7.0 126pt Antonio 6.5 111pt Haller 6.5 102pt Rodriguez 6.0 100pt McBurnie 6.0 86pt Mitrovic - 6.0 *new comers Rodrigo - 6.0 *new comers

Ryan / McCarthy
Doc / TAA / Mitchell / Egan / Lascelles
Bruno / Aubameyang / Romeu / Son / ASM
DCL / Martial / Adams
AM i think too much? for less of headache after GW1, lets jump to GW2 reason.
Seems like Salah is highly candicate to switch out after GW1. United players are more favourable to take over from GW2 - 11 (GW 12 vs City). So Martial, Bruno would be take the lead. For City, would be Auba to KDB (from GW3)
If this thought, most likely to give up GW1 and focus on GW2 player. Son i think can keep him. GW4 - MUN, GW9 - MCI, GW10 - CHE. This translation mean that i could keep him up to GW8 then only drop him off
For LIV asset, i am still think whether are Salah still needed to drop after GW1? The worried he cant score against GW6 - SHU; GW8 - MCI; GW11 - WOL; GW19 - MUN; So in 1st half of season only 3 games might not easy to get his scoresheet.
Auba surely would drop by GW3 as history told that he cant score for tougher def team. But during the post restart and Cup games he is done well.
Salah or Salahless?

back to Salah or Salahless...
My latest team would like be
Ryan / Walton (both BHA GK)
Doc / TAA / Mitchell / Targett / KWP
Auba / Salah / Son / ASM / Reed
Vardy / Antonio / Davis
Reed, Mitchell, Davis is purely bench man.. i guess they will play for 1-2 pointer. Ferguson always ahead than any 4.0 but due to his injury status, i keep Mitchell 1st
I wish to get Jimenez ahead of Antonio but i cant fit Son into the team Only may be if i choose Willian, another question me. Would be a new comers will shine?
the most i would to give greenlight until GW2 and GW3 a new player into. Willian + Jimenez or Son + Antonio
Willian > switch out at GW3 Antonio > switch out at GW3
Its depend the option chosen. Jimenez can consider to keep him from GW1 until GW9 Son will consider to keep up to GW3 and switch out at GW4
