New poster appears from nowhere, posting a lot and is suddenly wanting to join all our games? I smell a big rat and the schedule with Covid is mental enough as it is but if you & BRFC want to knock yerselves out over this, go ahead and gl. Smell a rat 😤 why? My initial impressions of a newbie appearing mid-season posting large amounts so quickly and PM'ing me twice. Hey, I maybe wrong and contrary to what Pete says, there are games you can join right now. Check the Punts of the Week, Tips of the Week and Prediction Score threads... you never know, I might change my mind.  ps Please kindly post your FPL ID number, it's on the Gameweek History page in the URL, like this; fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/88401/history |

Many thanks. No history and started FPL GW17, ie Jan 2021. At the risk of upsetting PeterOrange and the other Admin further I feel entirely vindicated in my initial reply to Xabi. The Gatekeepers may need to have a think about all this, I am getting old and can't do everything. |

It is free. But this is a draft league, so it's hard to enter mid season, unless someone drops out.
but that brings back an interesting thought.
Netley Lucas - we may want to think about a (parallel) mid season draft that starts after the Jan transfer window if people are interested? Someone brought this up in the off season. Returning on the topic, I like drafts SO much I'd absolutely love to have one NOT CONTINUING TO PLAY after |

Netley Lucas - we may want to think about a (parallel) mid season draft that starts after the Jan transfer window if people are interested? Someone brought this up in the off season. Returning on the topic, I like drafts SO much I'd absolutely love to have one NOT CONTINUING TO PLAY after I do think there's a way of doing a 'fun' smaller Fantrax game for the 2nd half of the season but this season is way too tricky due to Covid and the way TV has shortened the free time. It just makes everthing too hectic atm but next season, if we're not all dead, let's discuss it. |

I also think that a Welcome Thread should be an introduction thread, a say hello type thing. We can then welcome new members properly and have a little chat etc. This works very well, from my experience. Not everyone plays FPL but those who do have a History and this can be discreetly asked for and checked - not to see how good they are but to see if they really have a history and are not simply messing about with multiple ID's. |
